Occulate Veritatis Podcast. Curious Canadians Ood, Sage and Leon talk about tragedies, mysteries, and curiosities. Get a drink, pack a bowl, join the cult.

This podcast is so much fun and informative. I have listened to several of them over the years. It started with Jodi Arias part 1 and 2. I was addicted to that trial and watched it on tv every day like it was my job. I was riveted and Ood did an amazing job with his research and telling of this sick and twisted love affair gone wrong.

Their coverage of the Andrea Yates case had me nodding in agreement and yelling “Yes! Hell YES!”. When listening I don’t feel they exactly pass judgement they say what many, many of us are thinking. Their opinion of Rusty Yates was so on point for me. I highly recommend this episode.

Ood, Sage and Leon handle their subjects with humility and knowledge. I think they break things down for more and more people to understand. I will be honest, I had never heard of Incels until this podcast on the subject. It was informative about the origins of the term up until the more modern usage of the term and who it applies to in society. Amazing episode.

The best part of this podcast aside from the research and time they all clearly put into their episodes is the chemistry between the podcasters and how they play off each other. It feels like hanging out with your best friends and having a deep talk with him. They are my (in my head) new Canadian best friends! They will be yours too.
